At Craiganour Estate we have been putting the restoration and ecological development of the land as our first priority for over thirty years, as we understand the fundamental importance of a co-creative relationship with place. Covering an area of 21,000 acres (yours to explore and interact with when you stay at the lodge), we have planted over 4.5 million trees on the estate (Caledonian afforestation), as well as putting other habitats (of which there are many) under regeneration.

The role that people, locals and visitors alike, play in the continued development of Craiganour is central to our ethos and therefore we welcome you to reconnect with the ancient bond between people and place during your stay here. Regeneration at Craiganour is not something you watch from the sidelines; it is something you take part in. Through how you move on the land, what you learn, cook, eat and notice, your stay becomes part of the estate’s ongoing development. At the same time, we look after you: through food, warmth and style.

We have a highly trained network of chefs, butchers, keepers, ecologists, yoga teachers, massage therapists and more, who all share our values. In addition more traditional pursuits such as fishing, falconry, whisky tasting and golf are available.
